Dr. Choolwe Muzyamba is Assistant Professor at Utrecht University and Lecturer at the University of Amsterdam. An expert on issues related to international political economy, he has focused his research and teaching on inclusivity, decoloniality studies, and global public health. He has also done extensive research and work on issues related to disability, race, public policy and governance, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), HIV, maternal health, and climate change. Dr. Muzyamba’s work also emphasizes community mobilization, participatory action research, and participatory development/health promotion, blending rigorous academic insight with practical, inclusive approaches to social challenges.
He holds a PhD from Maastricht University and an MSc with Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
