Cristóbal Barros is a co-founder and partner at Tepual Conservación, a Chilean environmental consultancy and conservation organization that supports biodiversity protection, climate action, and sustainable natural resource management through technical advisory services, project design, planning, and legal-financial tools. A lawyer by training, Cristóbal has more than 15 years of experience working across the public and private sectors to advance initiatives in nature conservation, international cooperation, institutional relations, and social entrepreneurship.
He has led multidisciplinary and multicultural teams at the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the United Nations Development Programme, the Chile–California Council, and the U.S. Department of the Interior, and has served as a consultant to national and international public and private organizations. He holds a law degree from the University of Chile and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from the London School of Economics, and is also a co-founder of the social enterprise Late! and the nonprofit organization Parques para Chile.
