Emma Adler is a Global Researcher for Vaiu Research & Analysis. Currently based in Reykjavík, she is conducting graduate research at the University of Iceland with support from the Fulbright Commission in Iceland and the Leifur Eiríksson Foundation. Her primary research interests include Arctic security issues, including nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation, as well as the growing impacts of climate change on U.S. national security and international security more broadly.
Emma has volunteered for various political campaigns and causes, interned for the office of U.S. Senator Angus King, and most recently served as a Research Assistant at the Maine International Trade Center in Portland, ME supporting companies with market research, as well as issues surrounding foreign market access and entry. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Geography, with a double major in Political Science from the University of Southern Maine, Portland.
