Grace Akosua Dankwa is a global researcher and doctoral candidate at Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland. Her research interests include decolonial and intersectional analyses of the United Nations Security Council Resolutions on Women, Peace, and Security as well as National Action Plans that inform gender-transformative peace policies and processes in Africa.
She currently heads Youth and Gender Programmes at the Centre for Alternative Politics and Security – West Africa. She holds master’s degrees in Conflict, Peace and Security from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre and in Defence and International Politics from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, alongside a bachelor’s in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Ghana.
